Project Overview
A combined cycle power generation facility located in the coastal region of Manzanillo, Dominican Republic. The project required integrated cable management systems for power generation equipment, utility routing, control systems, and auxiliary infrastructure operating under corrosive coastal conditions.
The installation environment combined marine salt exposure, high-temperature industrial operation areas, and complex utility coordination requirements across multiple plant sections.
Project Challenges
- Coastal salt spray and high-humidity exposure
- Complex routing coordination between power and control systems
- Different corrosion protection requirements across plant areas
- Heavy-duty support requirements for large power cable installations
- Tight EPC construction and commissioning schedule
What We Delivered
Cable ladder, perforated tray, and stainless steel systems were supplied throughout the facility, with corrosion protection selected according to each installation environment.
- HDG 85μm+ systems for outdoor utility and pipe rack installations
- Duplex-coated systems for high-corrosion transition zones
- SS316L systems for critical corrosive process areas
- Heavy-duty ladder systems for main power cable routing
- Full range of support structures, fittings, and grounding accessories supplied
The system configuration minimized on-site fabrication work and improved installation efficiency during the construction phase.
